Our Story
Auckland Line marking Services Ltd is a 100% Kiwi owned family business with a 23 year pedigree. The current owner, Carl, fresh off the back of an electrical career in the RNZAF, took over the reigns 16 years ago. He made sure his three kids cut their teeth in the company before they started their own careers. Carl’s family orientated mentality extends out to his dealings with his customers some of whom have been with him from day one. He firmly believes in guiding his customers through the trickier aspects of each assignment not only for their satisfaction but also his own piece of mind that a job has been done well.
With Carl steering the ship Auckland Line marking Services has kept fully up to date with machinery, equipment and paint manufacturing technologies to keep pace with today’s increasingly challenging surface marking demands.
But just because the company is fully up to date with the latest tips and tricks it won’t stop Carl giving you that good old fashioned, Kiwi personal touch and attention to the job in hand.

We have always found the company’s services to be exemplary.
I have been lucky enough to have Auckland Linemarking Services to help me manage linemarking responsibilities at all the Defence Sites in the Auckland Region. Carl has been an essential member of our team and has always been able to advise us on matters ranging from legal requirements around fuel depots to simple give way road markings. Carl has been a very important subcontractor to us for over 12 years now. His work is always of the highest standard and his willingness to respond to our requirements and requests has enabled us to keep our customer happy.

FAQ
Can you work outside of normal business hours?
Yes. Most of our customers’ requirements demand that we time our work so that it does not interfere with their operation.
Is Auckland Linemarking Services Safety Compliant?
Yes. We prepare a Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) on request, before we start any new project. In addition our operators are fully trained and have undergone all required courses for the equipment we use. We attend induction training where required.
Do your container pads meet the strict MPI rules?
Yes. We ensure containers are placed in the correct position so that the correct container can be picked up after hours. Placement is vital to meet the strict MPI rules. MPI often demand “controlled areas” be painted at importers facilities so their personnel can inspect overseas shipments without interruption or interference.
What are your standards for site clean-up?
The very highest. Apart from our linemarking you will not even know we’ve been there.
How soon can you get to my job?
As in all business this will depend on demand; however if you call, text or contact us via the form on this website we will let you know how soon we can get to your job.
Do you undertake work on freshly laid concrete or asphalt?
Yes this can be done if job sign-off is urgently required; however it is recommended that the job is refreshed to ensure the clarity and quality of our work.
How long do fresh line marks take to dry?
Typically 20 minutes. However we recommend that the area is given as long as possible before foot or vehicular traffic is reallowed access.
Can you work in the rain?
Only if it is an inside or underground job. For obvious reasons linemarking is very difficult when the weather outside is inclement.
Do you have a range of linemarking colours?
Yes. We are continually developing new colours to add to our already extensive range. Please see our gallery for examples.
Do you undertake work on surfaces susceptible to heavy traffic/use?
Yes. We have a special technique for ensuring durability in these spaces. For example we have worked on a local waste management station where the excessive heavily laiden car and truck traffic has necessitated wasterblasting, and then the application of surface primer, linemarking paint and clear coat sealer.
